Scott D. Seitzinger, D.M.D. brings over two decades of experience in endodontics, having dedicated his career to providing precise and compassionate care since 1996. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville in 1990, Dr. Seitzinger went on to complete his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1994. His passion for endodontics led him to further his clinical expertise with a residency at West Virginia University, which he completed in 1996.
Dr. Seitzinger is deeply committed to his professional growth and staying connected with the broader dental community. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists, ensuring he stays at the forefront of advancements in his field. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Seitzinger values family time, often enjoying outdoor activities like fly fishing and spending time with his wife, Susan, and their three grown children and grand children.
Got a root canal, didn't feel anything. The entire staff are superb, caring, sweet, professional and efficient. You're in and out before you realize it.

This was my first root canal. I had heard horror stories years ago of people having very painful experiences. This was just the opposite. It was a fantastic experience. I was not in any pain or discomfort, even for a second. The dentist and the dental assistant spent all the time needed to answer all of my questions and to reassure me that what I was doing was the right thing. It was overall just a very pleasant experience. All of the people who work there seemed to be friends with one another and they all listened and genuinely seem to care about your comfort and stress level. I would highly recommend this office, Dr. Seitzinger and his staff.
Great experience. Fast , efficient, and friendly. Didnt once feel like I was rushed with any questions I had. Definitely recommend!
Highly recommend Dr. Shields! Very professional and kind. Answered all my questions and was very patient with me. All the staff there are very nice and welcoming too!
